IMPORTANT!

If you are purchasing this smart card reader to perform DOD/GOVT CAC log on from your PC, please be aware that you will also need to acquire and install the ActivClient software. The reader alone will not complete the log on process. Approved users can acquire this software from their command. In addition, root certificate installation and CAC registration may be required.

DOD/GOVT users do not need to install the software suite on the CD that comes with the CAC reader. Some Windows XP users may need to install the driver included on the CD.

Please do no ask me to supply ActivClient. I cannot. Please understand this CAC Reader will not grant you access to DOD sites without ActivClient or other middleware.
